Meet Our Team
At Thornton Kids Dentistry we are a close knit team dedicated to providing the best quality dental care out there. We love what we do and love kids, and we think it shines through. From our previous horrible experiences with dentists and doctors when young we were inspired to create a kid-centered and welcoming office for all.
Dr. Derren Tippets
- “Dr T” graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2006 and then did a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Temple Hospital from 2006-2008. He did his bachelors work at BYU and went straight to dental school after BYU.
- Colorado local who enjoys nature and his dogs. Proud owner of a Great Dane Stella and a Charles Cavalier named Clementine.
- Dr. T has 4 children, 4 siblings, and enjoys being outdoors.
- He has practiced Pediatric Dentistry for over 20 years and he is proud to offer his expertise and services to everyone in our office.
Our Dental Team
- We are a mix of ages and most of us are Colorado natives
- We are either all licensed or actively in training and school to be licensed and are gaining experience for our school by assisting here
- We all speak both English and Spanish, and offer all our forms and packets in both languages as well
- We love kids and are always happy to be here. You will see us with a smile on our face and enjoying our team- and we often have lunch as a big group and we enjoy after hour get-togethers at each others’ houses, arcades, or our favorite restaurants.
